A workshop that offers creative solutions to training, practicing, and proofing weave pole performance. This workshop is for you if your teammate struggles with any one or more of the following weave pole challenges: missed entries, skipping poles, slow weave pole performance, popping out before the end or is easily distracted while weaving.
Many handlers address these problems with one solution, restarting the dog from the weave entrance. But learning opportunities can be missed by restarting. We will discuss training tips and strategies that enhance your teammate's understanding. Teams should have a basic understanding of how to perform at least 6 weave poles.
