Pre-Foundation for Agility
Saturday, January 28th 8 am – 10 am $45
Perfect for anyone who wants to do agility but has not yet started. Strengthen the relationship, build the drive, and grow the confidence! Create the perfect agility dog before ever setting a paw on equipment. Also great for older dogs who are lacking confidence, drive or enthusiasm to play the game. Multiple dogs will be working at the same, so dogs should be able to work around other dogs.
Foundation Games
SaturdayJanuary 28th 10:30 am – 12:30 pm $45
Games to develop the basic skills needed for a successful agility career. These games lay the foundation for awesome startlines, strong obstacle commitment, and setting a balance between forward focus & handler focus. Dogs must be able to work around other dogs. Multiple dogs will be on the floor at once.
Green Dog Handling
Saturday, January 28th 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm $85
Open to dogs 8 months and older. Dogs should be sequencing jumps and tunnels (does not need to be full height). Perfect for dogs not quite ready to compete but who are successfully sequencing 5-10 obstacles. Focus will be on handling. Limit 8 working dogs.
OMD Techniques – Out in Front
Sunday, January 29th 8 am – 12 pm $85
The focus of this session will be on Front Crosses in all variations. Dogs should be sequencing using all equipment. Limit 8 working dogs.
OMD Techniques – Being Behind
Sunday, January 29th 1 pm – 5 pm $85
The focus of this session will be on handling from behind, Rear Crosses and beyond. Dogs should be sequencing using all equipment. Limit 8 working dogs.
Registration opens as follows
Wednesday, January 11 at 10 am: open to currently enrolled Paws ‘N Effect agility students.
Friday, January 13 at 10 am: open to all.
Auditors welcome. $45 a day, $25 for half day.
