Breed Handler Workshop

Are you new to the show ring or just need some brushing up on your handling skills? Either way, this workshop is for you. 
 
Instructors Heather Rife & Karen Drumm will be covering basic to intermediate handling skills, as well as basic anatomy which is essential to understanding movement and stacking.

  • Optimizing the presentation of your dog
  • Strategies for showing
  • The free stack & how to train it
  • How to keep your dog focused in big class

Heather Rife, DVM has been showing dogs in conformation since 1963. Her current breed is Australian Terrier. She has handled her terriers to many group placements including 6 Group Firsts.

 

Karen Drumm is the owner of Harmony Dog Training. She started showing dogs at 12 years old as a junior handler & has shown a wide variety of dogs to their championship. She is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the American Pointer Club.
