Training Retrieves, Dispatches & Transfers
through Targeting with Deborah Lee Miller-Riley

What's that you ask?
Canine Retrieve is a behavior where the dog travels to an indicated object, captures it, carries the object to the handler and releases it to the handler.

Canine Dispatch is a behavior where the dog takes an object from the handler's hand, carries the object away from the handler to a designated location and releases it.

Canine Transfer is a behavior where the dog travels to an indicated destination, captures the object and carries the object between the first destination to a second destination

This six week class session will help you get these behaviors started for fun, usefulness around the house and dog sports - especially watersports. Dogs will progress faster in sports if they are taught EARLY to deliver and transfer articles in addition to the retrieve behavior.

This class is open to al handlers whose dog can demonstrate a cued chin to hand contact and paws to remote target contact.
