Intern Training Program:

This introductory course is designed for those people who are interested in exploring their aptitude for, interest in and commitment to assisting the Paws N' Effect training team with group classes.  Successful completion of Part 1 will consist of the following requirements:

      -8 hours observing Family Dog Basics Class

      -4 hours observing private training classes or advanced classes at Paw's N' Effect

      -4 hours observing dogs in a shelter environment

      -8 hours didactic training on human pedagogy and canine behavior. This will include discussion, assigned readings, review of class observations and viewing video footage

      -Regular and full attendance at all classes

      -Written assessments of the course materials in the form of journal writing and/or examination

The course will be taught by Cara Mulqueen and Kathy Shea, both Certified Pet Dog Trainers.

Class size is limited to 10 students.
